Our Networks

A nation’s resilience is determined by and built on the very events that challenge it. From natural disasters to public health emergencies, these events test the systems and infrastructures that are put in place to protect and care for our communities. As the world changes, our country and those who call it home expect faster and more effective responses to these changes. As the world changes, we must prepare.

We unite leading medical and academic institutions, hospitals, government stakeholders and private partners to improve resilience and emergency preparedness on the local, regional and national level. As a result, the Resilience Intelligence Network serves as the platform to build new and foster existing emergency preparedness systems using an evidence-based, network-of-networks approach. Our participating networks include:

  • Discovery Program for Resilience and Emergency Preparedness

  • National Ebola Training and Education Center

  • Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network

  • Johns Hopkins University Emergency Medicine Transmissible Infectious Diseases and Epidemics Consortium

  • Prevention and Early Treatment of Acute Lung Injury Network

  • Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators network

  • Network for Emergency Care Clinical Trials: Strategies to Innovate Emergency Care Clinical Trials Network

  • Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network
