Building A Better Data Capture Platform

Project Meridian is the heart of the Resilience Intelligence Network’s data coordination. Developed in partnership with Akido Labs, based at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine and managed by the Discovery-PREP network’s core administrative team, Project Meridian is a secure cloud-based, multi-platform study management tool that transforms how data is collected and curated during public health emergencies.

Project Meridian leverages advanced informatics and the industry’s latest technological innovations to benchmark performance and improve outcomes in emergency preparedness clinical research. The tool provides both electronic data-capture and community management applications, empowering users to build and manage online surveys for healthcare research studies, as well as engage physicians to improve study participation, communication, analysis and reporting in real-time. By prioritizing automated workflow features, Project Meridian is uniquely interoperable and able to integrate data from diverse sources and data streams.

Designed to make data collection and curation easy for medical and governmental leaders anywhere, Project Meridian’s modern and mobile-friendly interface includes live dashboards of real-time trends for interventions when conducting studies employing adaptive trial approaches, with role-based views aligned with IRB specifications and simplification of user account management.
